Bluebell Walk, Malvern Hills
Bluebell Walk OK Prepare yourself for a breathtaking walk on the Malvern Hills in the Spring when they are carpetted in bluebells. If anyone wants to send me their e-mail address I will mail them when the bluebells are at their very best. As the walk is wooded and steep, the sunlight is limited so the b.bells come out later than most other places. The exact point where you want to get to is at SO 762 376 overlooking The Gullet quarry (although through the trees you cannot see the quarry) A good place to park is at Hollybush car park (SO 759 369). Follow the stony path round to the right, initially keeping the hills on your left, through a locked gate. As you climb the path (not steep) you will find the hills are on either side of you as you go through a wooded area. Cross a stream and carry on following the path. When the path turns quite sharply left up a steeper hill obviously towards the top, walk straight ahead instead of turning. You will drop down a few yards over an ancient ditch (old fortification). There before you are....bluebells in their thousands. Beautiful. In fact, for most of the walk you will see bluebells but that last part is the icing on the cake. Happy hiking.

Summary
A carpet of bluebells in the Malvern Hills.

Notes
The Malvern Hills bluebell walk is fairly easy, not too steep and the distance from the car park to the best bluebell bit is only about half a mile.
