Burghead is a little fishing village to the east of Inverness, it's not far from Elgin.
Start at the caravan site and walk through the pine woods towards the village of Findhorn.
The walk is easy and brilliant for dogs.
Soon you will see the RAF Kinloss in the distance and its time to turn towards the sea.
You will see a ruined bothy (shepherds house) and a stream called the Millie.
Follow this out onto a beautiful white sandy beach.
Turn right and walk back along the beach to Burghead.
Enjoy a wee dram at any of the villages pubs as they welcome dogs.
The Station was especially welcoming and even put up with us dripping wet after a rainstorm.
My dog is called Millie so we had to take this walk to the Millie stream! She is a Westie.

Pine forests, streams and sandy beaches.
Park in Burghead village, no charge. No refreshments or toilets on the walk but plenty in Burghead. It's only a short walk-about 5 miles.
