Cayton Bay, North Yorkshire
Cayton Bay Cayton Bay is a relatively quiet and pretty beach on the Yorkshire coast between Filey and Scarborough. There's little I can tell you about it really. It's sandy, it's clean, it's sheltered but most importantly of all it's very dog friendly! Dogs are allowed on the entire beach all year round and they even provide dog bins. It's a wonderful place to let your dog have a good run around and a paddle in the sea. Laddie adored it.

If you also fancy a stroll along the cliffs the Cleveland Way just happens to run right along them so hop onto the path and away you go.

Summary
A sandy dog friendly beach. There's a long steep slope down from the car park to the beach but it's worth the effort.

Notes
There's a car park, surf shop and loos but they charge a mighty £2 to park no matter how long you stay. There's only one car park for the beach so you can't miss it.
