The walk starts at the leisure centre.
There is a car park at the leisure centre and at the boating lake, both pay and display.
From the boating lake car park it is just 2 minutes walk to the leisure centre crossing a modal railway track.
From the leisure centre the walk goes south, south/east and there are sand dunes which most dogs just love to play in.
After the sand dunes the sand does get a bit muddy and weedy but there is a good path through it and your dog is by now already wet and mucky anyway (mine is).
On your right you will see caravans and then some small wooden/metal buildings (Humberston Fitties).
At the end of the fitties there is a boat yard which is as far as the beach goes.
On the way back you could get of the beach and walk on the grassy bank along the fitties which lead to a path.
On the path you might notice a metal/bronze plate in it, this is the Greenwich mean time line.
The path goes all the way back to the leisure centre.
My dog and I have had a lot of fun on this beach and will be having more.
