Her name is Buffy. She is a Bearded Collie and is 5 years old.
We found her in the NCDL in Snetterton.
She was rooming with a small dog called Tinker that we picked but we got the names wrong and out came Beattie (Buffy).
We didn't know what a Bearded collie looked like.
She was quite aggressive but so happy to be going for a walk that we decided to take her out and then come back for Tinker.
By the time we returned she was ours.
And believe me it was a real act of faith because she had been a stray and was clipped to the skin.
I told everyone we had a new dog, but that she was ugly to prepare them.
Talk about the ugly duckling.
It took time and patience and still does but she is a beautiful happy natured dog who no longer tries to chase the postman!
