Jasper is a collie cross and was rescued a month ago from Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. He is 14 months old so still a bit immature but he was the loveliest dog I saw, and one of the few who didn't bark at us, and I still haven't heard him bark to this day. He just wagged his tail and looked really pleased to see us, bless him.
He is very friendly and loves to play and run with the other dogs in the local park at Leith Links. He may have a bit of lurcher in him as he runs like a good 'un and can often take off to go over to say hello and have a wag-n-sniff with other dogs but he always returns (eventually) snuffling for his treat from my jacket pocket. He is a bit of a hungry horace with a very good appetite and loves his treats especially frolic and sausages.
He has been very easy to train so far, and knows quite a few commands and tricks already. He is very well behaved and I could not have wished for a better dog to rehome. Soon, he will be attending dog training classes where I'm sure he will love the socialising with his classmates.
