Dunwich We attended the E.A. Beardied Collie club ramble this weekend at Dunwich

A12 (edge of) Blythburgh Bear right B1387 Junction with B1387
Turn left B1387 (signposted Walberswick)
B1125 Junction with B1125
At staggered crossroads turn right B1125 (signposted Leiston)
B1125 Westleton ("The Crown" public house)
Follow local signs to Dunwich Heath, Suffolk.

There is a Pay and Display car park at the far end above the cliffs. I suggest drive to the end to get the ticket then drive back to the smaller car park. The paths are all signposted and the one from the small car park ends on the beach. Dogs are allowed off leads. This walk took one and a half hours. Beware mud ponds but the sea is there to clean off afterwards.

Summary
Suffolk coastal walk.

Notes
There is a tearoom, very good pub which accepts dogs, and a cafe for excellent fish and chips in Dunwich village. Crowded in summer but very pleasant out of season.
