Walks
Hoarwithy, Herefordshire
Start at the Italianate church in Hoarwithy (well worth a look), and walk up the hill until a turn off to the right takes you past a farm. Keep straight on at the junction and follow a green lane for about a mile. At the junction turn right down the road to Carey. The pub here is the Cottage of Content. Follow the road until a footpath to the right takes you to the banks of the River Wye. Follow the bank back to Hoarwithy. Drinks and a meal can be had at the New Harp.

Summary
A country stroll with the reward of a pub at the end.

Notes
Park at the New Harp (ask permission if pub is open. Length about 6 miles. Mainly gentle walking. Lots of stiles. Keep dogs on lead if sheep or cattle in field. Most horses were in fields with electric fences between them and us!
