Walks
Hughenden Estate, High Wycombe
Most days me and my gang (Kruga, Tia, Bula & Minnie) walk through the Hughenden Estate at High Wycombe. No two walks are ever the same. There is open parkland, woodland, walks beside the streams, footpaths and bridleways. The area belongs to the National Trust. There are free carparks dotted all around the park. The walks can be quite strenuous as High Wycombe is very hilly but the upside of this is that the parkland etc is well drained and rarely gets really boggy. The carpark beside Hughenden Manor is very shady in the summer so your car should stay cool whilst you enjoy a picnic etc. There is a excellent cafe serving home cooked food at the Manor but you need to check opening times in the winter months. Dogs can run freely in most areas but there are some fields where sheep graze and cattle graze in the park during summer months although there is plenty of room for everyone. Please, Please pick up after your dogs as my gang would be devastated if they lost their favourite walkies
