Go to Mawnan Smith and take the road to the left of the Red Lion.
Park about 300 yds along this road, near Carwinnion Camellia nursery.
Take the footpath beside the nursery and wander down a wooded path to the Helford river.
There are 2 tiny beaches, safe for dog swimming.
Follow the coast path to the left and admire the sea and views.. you could walk all the way to Falmouth, but you would have to retrace your path, or walk along the road to get back.
You will pass Mawnan church along your route, the view from the inside church through a doorway is fantastic.

An accessible walk with beaches and safe swimming for dogs.
This walk is not suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Keep young children under strict control as the cliffs just fall away beside the path......having said this,the walk is really beautiful
