Walks
Wimpole Hall, Cambridgeshire
You will need to head to Wimpole Hall (follow the A603 from the M11). For the best walks you should try walking away from the main carpark (try leaving the main house entrance, turning left for 100 yards and take the path on your right just before the farm buildings. The path runs past some sheep fields so it is best to keep the dog under close control for the first quarter of a mile. After you have walked beyond some farm houses the track heads upwards. As you reach the tree line you will enjoy some of the nicest views that East Anglia has to offer. Keep walking on and you have the choice of a short walk by turning right and heading down the paths that edge the fields. If you want a longer walk then continue walking straight ahead where even better views await you.

Summary
Bridleways and footpaths in gently rolling hills (some of the very few in East Anglia!) on the Wimpole estate.

Notes
Back at the main house there is a nice tea shop, an interesting 2nd hand book store and, importantly for some, toilets.
